Park City is located 36 miles east of Salt Lake City International
Airport and only 30 miles east of Salt Lake City via a six lane
inerstate highway (I-80).

ELEVATION
Altitude within Park City varies from approximately 6,800 feet
to 8,500 feet above sea level. However, in the Wastach Mountain

Park City Acadamy
is a non-denominational school serving preschool through 8th grade.
The Colby School serves
ages 3 through 8th grade. The
Winter Sports School is for young
winter athletes and runs through the summer months to allow athletes
the winter for sports training. Waterford
School and Rowland
Hall are private schools in Salt
Lake City with a number of students that live in Park City.
The Park
City Public School District has
a lot to brag about. Park City High School was rated among the
top 100 public schools in the nation.

Park City’s summers are cool, dry
and mild. The average summer high is 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Park
City’s humidity is very low which makes the summer season
comfortable and pleasant. The average rainfall is 2.76 inches
per year. People come for the winters and stay for the summers!
Winter Climate
Winter temperatures in Park City average
between 24 degrees Fahrenheit to 33 degrees Fahrenheit. Average
snowfall is 143 inches in town and 350 inches at the resorts.
Average snowfall at the resorts is 380 inches per year and 180
inches in town. And yes, the saying is true... it's the "Greatest
Snow On Earth".
